Baby Within is a registered, licensed and insured business serving the city of Calgary and area.
We have been specifically trained in obstetric ultrasound. We also gained a lot of our knowledge and experience through hands on training and on the job training.

- We offer appointments 7 days a week! We work with your schedule!
- We offer a variety of affordable packages to choose from, and many add on options.
- Our home studio offers you, the client, a designated parking spot when you arrive. No more stressing over not finding parking! We also have a separate, private entrance to our studio. Our studio is equipped with state of the art, hospital grade ultrasound machine on which we perform your scan. We have a large TV screen conveniently located in front of you and your support person, so that you and your support person can view and enjoy seeing your baby while we perform the scan.

Baby Within studio shares a space with our professional photography business Lucid Photography.
Many clients start their journey with us at an ultrasound appointment. Then, unlike any other company we can help out with providing maternity photo shoot and/or newborn shoot. Our clients get extra perks and discount for booking a combination of services. We provide a variety of maternity dresses available for our clients at no extra cost and a huge variety of props and set ups for your newborn session.
About Us
We are a husband and wife team. Rita is the tech who performs the scans, the one you will be talking on the phone with or booking your appointment with. Leo is the tech who takes care of all the technology!
It was always Rita’s dream to open an ultrasound studio to run alongside the photography business. A long time, a lot of work, love, sweat, happy tears, financial and emotional investment, effort, sleepless nights and LONG days of studying went into making this dream a reality.
Rita LOVES what she does, she has a lot of fun doing her job and she absolutely loves sharing those celebration moments with the parents and their families!
